Nailed it

Ever seen those 'Nailed it' posts?  Stuff from Pinterest etc, where someone really talented has made a special cake or cookies, and someone has gone behind them and tried to recreate it, only to fail?  Like so:

Well, I came across some awesome musketeers from Blue Moon Manufacturing that Steve Dean painted over on his forums.  After I had some decent luck with a couple 15mm Taliban several weeks back, I thought I could take a shot at them.

Nailed it.





And here is one more mounted, and with Planchet, the hired help.

    These are wonderful! Now if only they were faced by about a dozen of the Cardinal's Guard.... Your basing is terrific as well.

    Thanks for the comments guys. Just as a disclaimer or reminder - Steve Dean's work is the first picture of the musketeers that I tried to copy, and his stuff is just incredible. I wish I had half the skill he has....
