Ive always been very interested in the Black Hawk Down mission.  I dont know - something so heroic, so terrible, great movie fodder.  Ive painted a lot of US soldiers in Somalia over the years....here are a few more from Radio Dishdash.  (please excuse the cat hair!!!!)

From Spectre Miniatures.  I initially had some trouble with Spectre - they never filled my Kickstarter order, and they eventually gave me my money back.  However, fool me twice, I ordered from them later and had amazing service.  Their modern figures are top notch - on par with Empress, if not better.

I had to go to Los Angeles last week for work.  Fuck LA.  I hate that place.  Anyway, went to the Rose Bowl to watch USC (the other one) vs UCLA, and then to the Coliseum to watch Miami vs LA.  A couple pics:

I think I finally have it, at least with 20mm figures.

Picture may not be a fair representation....kinda makes it darker than it really is, but to the eye, I think I have nailed it (at least enough that Im happy with it!!!)
