Zombie Hunter Survivalist type

This was a decent figure from Warhansa - a russian company I had not heard of before.

Something didnt turn out right with the fig....i havent nailed exactly what it is, but I blew it.  The clothes have some nice highlights, but the face and hair are kinda boogered up.  Maybe a couple more highlights there?

Survivor

Not really sure what this guy is supposed to be....survivor, punk, criminal?  Whatever, he caught my eye

Also, check this out.  I got 3 out of the final 4 World Cup teams right, and I picked the Finals teams correct as well.  I have picked Argentina over Germany (looking back now, that may be a mistake!) but Im sticking with Messi and Aguero!

Zombie Kill Team

Khurasan Miniatures - these guys are listed as a zombie kill team.

I added 'nationalities' to their shoulder gear.  After all, when the zombies come, we want the best of the best taking care of business right?

Check back tomorrow for a penny sized Millenium Falcon!

Daryl Dixon

The Walking Dead is my favorite show on TV right now, and could very well be my favorite show ever.  To that end, I purchased 'Not' Daryl Dixon from Studio Miniatures and painted him up.  Cool figure!  He even has a squirrel on his belt!!!

The Van Buren Boys

An obscure Seinfeld reference....

I finished up a couple more bikers to round out the pack from Copplestone Castings.  Overall, a great pack to paint with lots of character.

With a rebel yell

Another of the 'Bikers' from Copplestone Castings.  I was a little afraid that she would come out looking like a tranny....I think I avoided that though!

Biker and April 2012 Totals

First up - my first completed purchase from Salute!  A biker from Copplestone Castings.  I really love Copplestone's stuff - always very alive.  I got a few packs - bikers and some scavengers - but I forgot that if I was to paint bikers, I needed to paint tats right???  Ugh - I wasnt brave enough to try to pull it off on this figure.

April was another relatively slim month for painting.  I was in the UK for 10 days, prep for the UK was at least a couple days, working late after the return is another 4 or 5 days, and a visit from the mum was a couple days.  Hopefully, I can turn my painting around in May.

Completed, for April, 2012:
28mm infantry completed: 4
3 (Michonne and 2 Zombies) (Victory Force Miniatures and Hasslefree Miniatures
1 Biker (Copplestone Casting)

15mm Infantry completed: 18
18 ACW (Old Glory and Blue Moon Manufacturing)

In progress, April/May, 2012:
1/285 armor in progress: 10
5 M1A1 Abrams (GHQ)
5 M2 Bradley (GHQ)

10mm Infantry in progress: 20
20 ACW (Pendraken)

28mm Infantry in progress: 1
1 Egil Something-o-rather (Gripping Beast)

Im really on the 10mm figure kick right now.  Ive got a stack of 10mm ACW to paint, as well as some other stuff.  I should finish up the viking from Gripping Beast tonight or tomorrow (barring any surprises).  The armor has been on my plate since last month - they are sitting on my desk half started...I need to finish them up!

2012 Completed Totals:
25-28mm infantry completed: 27
15mm infantry completed: 33
15mm cavalry completed: 10
20mm infantry completed: 8
1/285 Infantry completed:  8
1/285 Armor completed:  10
