Iraqi Armor
Finished up my 20mm Iraqi force with several pieces of armor. I think they turned out pretty good...Im just not a huge fan of painting armor! Just not much 'character' I guess? Whatever though - thanks for looking!

Army Zombies
Finished up some zombies this weekend - used a new skin recipe. Still a little too 'pink' or 'purple' for my taste, but I think they still turned out pretty well. Also tried ACU AGAIN.
Got the Iraqi armor done late last night. I should have pics of those up tomorrow morning.

Lots of Iraqis
I finished up 40 or so Iraqi soldiers this week - all in the Desert Storm/Iraqi Freedom era - from Liberation Miniatures- 20mm.
The first few pics are supposed to be 'Iraqi Special Forces'. I recently read a book about how they 'stormed' into Kuwait back in 1991 and took Kuwait City. Kinda cool really, except that they eventually got their asses kicked by one unit of US Marines who got trapped behind enemy lines.
The rest are all supposed to represent the Republican Guard. They are mostly 'uniformed', but I wanted to highlight that even as Saddam's best troops, they were still a rag tag bunch.
Pretty good luck with faces this time around.
Tons of stuff on my painting desk now...ive got 7 pieces of armor that go with the Iraqis, 4 28mm zombies, a unit of 15mm Saracens from the Crusades, and a couple 15mm sci fi freebies that I got from Salute last year. Ill never complete my lead mountain, but Im doing my best to whittle it down!

SEAL Team 6 and 'Cairo'
Wow - its been nearly a month since my last post. That is total BS! Im STILL working on an Iraqi OIF force, but Im nearly finished with the infantry.
Anyway, on to the post:
My wife is the president of a local non-profit animal shelter. They are having a big auction this spring with all of the proceeds going to the shelter. This is a bit of a stretch for that I think, but there are a lot of local vets around - maybe it will catch someone's eye? Well, whatever, this is easily my best attempt at Multicam - I think Ive finally hit it after 4 or 5 previous tries.
