Vipers and Raiders. Oh my!

Finished my BSG menagerie.

Viper MKVII.  In the new series Galactica had about half of these, and half of the MKII (that I posted last week).  Pegasus only had the MKVIIs.

Next up, Cylons.  These are regular raiders.  They are pretty cool, but there is nothing like the old school raiders.

Finally, these are cylon bombers.  They appeared in a couple eps of BSG

Tomorrow, some 6mm T90 tanks, and later this week, more Old West!

Ive got a stack of Mk VII Vipers and Cylon Raiders sitting on my desk waiting to be primed and painted.  Hopefully, ill get to some of that tonight.

Raptors!

Continuing with the BSG theme today, here are a set of 5 raptors I completed to go with my colonial ships

Next up, I was looking at the homebrew rules that Jim Fox at Fox Miniatures created for BSG.  It requires quite a few missle and nuke markers.  I took some 'fancy toothpicks' and cut the back ends off of them, and carved small nose cones.  This is what I came up with:

The ones with the red and white tips are 'missles':

The ones with the nuke symbol on the tip are, well, you guessed it, nukes

Battlestar Galactica

Battlestar Pegasus - I meant to take some comparison pictures, but Pegasus is about twice the size of Galactica!

Assaultstar Harrier - not sure if this one is canon or not, but somewhere, I saw a drawing of this one as a landing ship!

Panther - this one is like a frigate or destroyer

Finally, some Cylons.
This one is called 'Octo' something o' rather.  Pretty sure this one isnt 'canon'

And, last but not least, a couple basestars

Got some more stuff to post up as the week goes on.  Tomorrow, there will be Raptors on the Raptor's Nest!!!  Later in the week, a couple more Old West guys, a movie review, and maybe a couple other things if I can get them done!

Battlestar Galactica

Resin version of the Old Lady.  The model was kinda crappy actually, but still, cool at this size.  The words 'Galactica' as well as the symbol of Cobol were hand painted.

Id buy other models in this series like Pegasus, colony ships, and other fictional Battlestars, etc.
