Flames of War 15mm Fallschirmjager Complete

These were awesome until I varnished them.  Big mistake.

Ive been thinking about trying to build a force and actually find somewhere to play Flames Of War.  So, I varnished thinking they would need some extra strength.  Yuck.  Also, added a nazi flag and the FOW platoon and squad descriptions on the edges of the bases.  The bases themselves turned out really well though.

These are, however, the smallest figures I have ever painted, and the eyes and faces turned out well too.  Good practice.

Flames of War Sherman M4A1 Complete

My first attempt at really weathering a 1/100 scale tank.  I think it turned out pretty well.  The mud is gloss acryllic gel mixed with two different colors of pigments.  Once that was dried, I put some static grass on it.  The grass is a bit green for what I was trying to do, but I think I can buy some darker, 'muddier' colors.  Ive also tried to dirty it up using water soluble oil paint...it also turned out well.

These have turned out well.  I was just messing around with them, trying to work on techniques - throw aways if necessary - and they look good.  Working on the base now...should be done tonight.

Viking WIP

These are 28mm Wargames Factory Vikings Im working on.  I was originally not too concerned with how they were gonna look - I was just gonna work on their skin tones and such, but I think they are turning out pretty well.
New armor method
First attempt at tartan pattern on the pants.  Not bad for my first try.
Designs, skin tone, armor - this is the look im going for with all my figs

New camera

My mom gave me her 'old' camera. Its a Fuji 10mp. Thats all i know. Anyway, its a LOT better than the camera I have been using, at least for taking pictures of miniatures. Here are some new pictures of some old Spartans.
