C-ROC Gozanti class cruiser

From Star Wars Rebels (I think) plus one tiny segment of The Phantom Menace.

This one painted for 'the Black Sun' - a criminal syndicate in the SW Expanded Universe.

Western Hostages

Perhaps a bit irreverent considering the world we live in today, and if I offend, I apologize.  (fucking ISIS...I cant believe I have to put a disclaimer for little men!!!) However, I still look at these as pieces of lead....anyway, that out of the way...

More Turtles

Another go around with TMNT.  First time was here.  That was November 2014!  Wow, seems like yesterday, and it was a year and a half ago!  So many minis, so little time

These are from My Way Miniatures in Russia.  I think I like these better than the first set I did.

Lego Convention

There was a lego convention in Raleigh today.  I thought 'cool - maybe there will be some awesome stuff that adults have built'  (after all, have you ever seen some of the aircraft carriers and battleships that people have made?)

Huge mistake.

Im not sure what I was thinking, but it was a kid zoo in there.  Ugh.  My wife and I went for about an hour.  I was done after about 15 minutes, but my wife convinced me to hang in for a little bit.

There were a few cool things however

A massive battleship....USS Missouri.  You can see the minifigs on the deck to get a good sense of scale at how big this thing is.

A castle and working train - you can see the train at the bottom

Minifigs!  Probably my favorite part of lego.  But, check out the prices on them!  If you look on the top row, there is a Kylo Ren for 30 bucks.  This was as close as we could get - most of the time the people flooding the figs were at least 3 deep, sometimes 4 or 5.

For Corey

First thing I did when I walked about of the convention center?  Washed my hands.  Even though I dont think I touched a single thing.

Best advice I have?  Dont go to a lego convention, but look at others pictures on the internet.
