Dreadball Terraton

Last year, I went crazy and waaaaaay over did my bidding on the kickstarter for Dreadball.  I have enough Dreadball figures to last a lifetime!

The 'season 3' figures came in a month or so ago, and I sat down yesterday and started painting some of the terratons.  Wasnt really sure about a color scheme, but this is what I came up with:

The white gets washed out in the light saturation I use when taking pictures, but it turned out pretty well, even though it doesnt show it.  White is always tough, especially when it is armor.

I think the red skin turned out really well.  Again, its kinda washed out, but I like it

I wasnt really sure about the green and the white (im still not) - but for now, its what Im going with (instead of green, I thought about blue, red, or black).

And, what a great morning to be a Gamecock fan!  It was the miracle in Columbia.....Missouri that is!  Connor Shaw saved the Cocks, and brought them back from 17-0 at the start of the 4th quarter to keep the hopes of winning the SEC East alive!

    1. Thanks Angry. They (Dreadball figures) are tough to paint...its hard painting all that armor. Im not too good at painting armor anyway.

  2. First off, your TeraTon is spot on brilliant. I LOVE the white with the green. And then the red skin is perfect. Can't wait to see more.

Oh yeah. Connor Shaw = WARRIOR. I think you hear us coming. GO COCKS.

  3. I love the combination of both colours to! White is indeed a difficult colour to paint. I paint it with grey borders and shadows. Really like the outcome when I do it that way.

    Greetings
