These are the first figures in a long time that I have been disappointed with, both from a sculpt perspective, but also my paint job. The sculpts are boring (well, the strikers are pretty good actually, but the other two? Bah), and they werent really all that fun to paint.
My paint job was kinda crappy. I tried to create fire going up the entire left side of each figure, but instead, I got a blobby mess of yellow, orange, and red. On a good note, I think the red armor itself turned out pretty good!

I don't know dude, I really like those..I think the flames are very convincing, esp considering the scale.

ReplyDeleteGreat work, really effective! How is Dreadball as a game? Seen it briefly on Mantic's site, but couldn't help thinking 'Blood Bowl' rip-off (not that I played that, mind)
