University of South Carolina Gamecocks - they are my alma mater. Yes, you read that right - Cocks :) The nickname comes from Thomas Sumter, The Gamecock, from The War Of Independence.
College football (I know, we have the name wrong!) is huge here in the States. USC has a good football team - the guy in the pic is our senior quarterback.
